PURPOSE: A method for preparing hetero cyclic compound containing a lactone compound and oxygen is provided to ensure high productivity at low pressure. CONSTITUTION: A cyclized compound is prepared by directly reducing organic acid of 4-6 carbon atoms, organic acid ester, or a mixture thereof under the presence of a copper catalyst. The cyclized compound is a hetero cyclic compound containing a lactone compound or oxygen. The organic acid is levulinic acid, succinic acid, fumaric acid, itaconic acid, aspartic acid, adipic acid, or glucaric acid.
