<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To superimpose more appropriate overlay information on a captured image to be displayed. <P>SOLUTION: A position-information generating unit 32 recognizes an image-capture position, in the real world, at which a captured image is captured. A retrieving unit 33 retrieves the image-capture position and the captured image, which is recognized by the position-information generating unit 32. An overlay-information acquisition unit 35 acquires information, which is retrieved by the retrieval unit 33, as overlay information that is to be displayed so as to be superimposed on the captured image. A communication unit 31 transmits the overlay information, which is acquired by the overlay-information acquisition unit 35, to a mobile terminal.
