<p>A method for supporting a transparent clock is provided, which specifically includes: obtaining the message delivered between a remote IP transmission device and a local IP transmission device; if the message is a first 1588V2 event message, adding the pre-measured IP transmission message delay to the first 1588V2 event message. A transparent clock apparatus is also provided in the invention. With the transparent clock apparatus added to the IP transmission device, the transparent clock function is enabled without upgrading or replacing IP transmission devices in the existing network. The operation complexity of enabling the transparent clock function is reduced, and the system implementation cost is reduced.</p> |
