PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device capable of reliably performing communication setting in which radio communication can be established in an infrastructure mode for each of two terminal devices. SOLUTION: When a BOX receives a request of a setting change from an ad-hoc mode to an infrastructure mode from an MFP (S53), it stores current communication setting (S55) and thereafter implements its own wireless LAN simplified setting function (S56). As a result, when new communication setting is completed, the BOX resets previously-stored communication setting (S60), and it sends a signal that the new communication setting has been completed in an ad-hoc mode to the MFP (S61). After that, new communication setting is established (S68). On the other hand, the MFP implements its own wireless LAN simplified setting function to perform new communication setting under the condition that a signal that the new communication setting has been completed has been received from the BOX.
