<p>The invention relates to a data processing method for determining the drift values (d,d') of at least one tire (21, 22), said tire belonging to a vehicle (1) comprising at least two wheels including at least two GPS antennas and means for determining roll values of said vehicle. The method includes, for various positions of the vehicle on a track, a step of determining coordinates of the GPS antennas, a step of determining the roll values of the vehicle, a step of determining different contact points (29, 31) between the tire and the track from the coordinates of at least one of said GPS antennas and from various roll values of the vehicle, said contact points defining a path (39, 41) of the tire on the track. The processing method further includes a step of determining a tangent (43, 45) to the path of the tire at at least one contact point from among said contact points, a step of determining, from coordinates of the GPS antenna, an orientation of a wheel plane (33, 35) associated with the tire, and a step of determining a drift value from the tangent and from the orientation of the wheel plane.</p> |
