PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide device for a man-conveyor moving handrail which considerably decreases traveling resistance of the moving handrail by a simple construction, and which is easily applicable to various man-conveyors. SOLUTION: The guide device 10 for guiding traveling of the moving handrail 3 of the man-conveyor includes: a guide rail 11 installed along the traveling direction of the moving handrail 3; and a sliding cloth 12 made of a cloth woven using a predetermined fiber having lower friction characteristics than the surface of the guide rail 11, such as fluororesin fiber.
