PURPOSE: An automatic food waste basket is provided to collect food waste in a collection basket by automatically opening a cover by the weight of food waste stored in the collection basket. CONSTITUTION: An automatic food waste basket is composed as follows. A hinge unit(3a) of a cover(3) with a bent part(3c) is installed in a hinge hole(1a) formed in a basket body(1) through a shaft pin(3e). Hinge grooves(1c) are formed in the left and right of the bottom of the basket body. Hinge protrusions, formed in the bottom end of a bent support unit(2), are inserted into the hinge grooves. A hanging protrusion(5a) of an opening and closing unit(5) is inserted into a hanging groove formed in one side of the basket body. |
