Shoe components such as heels, wedges or weft soles are blow moulded from parisons which are clamped in the blow mould in such a manner at one of their ends that the line of clamping coincides with the line of greatest stress in the blow moulded components, whereby weakening of the wall bearing the greatest load is prevented by stretching of the parison wall during blow moulding. |
