<p>Separation plant comprises centrifuges, filter units and piping, all lined with anti-static material, cellulose acetate. Filter units are generally cylindrical with conical bottoms, and contain, in cylindrical part, radial filter bags extending inwards from the perimeter by varying distances. The conical bottom opens into a collector through an automatic valve. Used for separating chemically produced suspensions, esp. in the sugar industry.</p> |
