PURPOSE: An information system for a vehicle is provided to improve the safety of the system by providing an operation request signal, corresponding to temperature, to a Micro Control Unit. CONSTITUTION: An information system for a vehicle comprises a monitor(200), a Micro Control Unit(140), and a computer main board(130). When a user touches a power icon of a screen, the monitor transmits a connection command to the MCU. The monitor is directly connected with the computer main board and interfacesan operation command. The MCU is connected to the monitor and performs a control operation depending on detected temperature and power. The computer main board controls the operation of audio and video equipment by corresponding to an operation signal generated from the monitor.
