PURPOSE:To stably separate an isotope at objective concn. and to reduce the loss of separation work, by regulating the steam density of the isotope mixture in a laser irradiation part of said mixture and controlling the concn. of the objective isotope separated and recovered. CONSTITUTION:The measuring signal of product concn. is inputted to a controller 11 to be compared with set objective concn. When the measured value is different from the objective value, the correction indicating signal corresponding to the deviation of both values is automatically outputted to an electron gun power source 10 from the controller 11, and an emission current or electron accelerating voltage is altered by the correction indicating signal. When the emission current is altered, the quantity of electron beam changes and, when the electron accelerating voltage is altered, the holding energy of an electron changes but, in both cases, the total energy possessed by a electron beam increases and decreases, and the heating quantity of a mixture 12 to be melted changes and the temp. of an evaporation surface can be controlled.
