PURPOSE: A binder composition for an aerogel-based board, the board using the same, and a method for preparing the same are provided to improve the bondability of aerogel and the strength of the board by optimally mixing mineral powder and a liquid binder. CONSTITUTION: A binder composition for an aerogel-based board is composed of 10-90 weight% of mineral powder and 10-90weight% of a liquid binder. The mineral powder is composed of 5-72.7% of C, 20-86.7% of O, 1-67.7% of Mg, 1-67.7% of Al, 3-69.7% of Si, 0.5-67.2% of S, 0.5-67.2% of Cl, 2-68.7% of Ca, 0.1-66.8% of Ti, 0.05-66.75% of Mn, 0.05-66.75% of Fe, and 0.1-66.8% of In.
