This invention relates to apparatus for growing plants comprising a column100of pots102stacked one above the other to define an enclosure for housing plants. Each pot102defines a chamber104for holding a plant. The channel comprises a passageway (106) that provides a continuous flow path for air through the column100. Therefore ventilating or aerating the apparatus without requiring the air to flow through the chambers104. This flow path includes spaces around tops of at least two of the pots102where plants project from the chamber104. The pots may be separated from each other by separators130. The invention also concerns a system for providing an air flow to plants, the system further comprising a heat exchanger for heating or cooling air. Also claimed are a plant pot and a kit of parts for assembly into the apparatus. |
