PURPOSE: A breast fixing apparatus for digital breast tomosynthesis system is provided to fix the breast of the patient by using a vacuum suction method. CONSTITUTION: In a breast fixing apparatus for digital breast tomosynthesis system, a breast fixing apparatus(320) absorbs the breast of the patient through a vacuum suction method to holds it. An X- line- source(310) emits an x-ray to the fixed breast of the patient. A detector(330) detects an x-ray projection image of the breast. A terminal(340) generates a three-dimensional tomosynthesis image based on the x-ray projection image. The detector is moved along the outer circumference of the breast fixing apparatus when the x-ray source is moved by a certain angle.
