<p>Substd. indeno-pyridine derivs with agression-inhibiting activity Cpds. of formula (I) (where R = lower alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl opt. substd with Cl, Br, F3 methoxy, methythio or lower alkyl; A= opt. branched 1-4C alkylene). have agression-inhibitory activity especially attacking agression and may be used in the prevention and treatment of mental illness showing open- or hidden agression. (I) are prepared e.g. by reacting 1,3,4,9b-tetrahydro-5-methyl-2H-indeno 1,2-c -pyridine with 1-bromo-3-butanone or with methylvinylketone to give 1,3,4,9b-tetrahydro-5-methyl-2-(3-oxobutyl)-2H-indeno 1,2-c pyrid- ine.</p> |
