<p>The electric supply is derived from a 48 Volt battery (1-1,1-2) which supplies the drive motor (2) directly, and supplies ancillary electrical equipment (3) at 12 Volt. An inverter (16) connected between the 48 V terminal and an intermediate battery connection (A) at 24 Volt, produces the 12 V supply. The inverter output is regulated by adjusting the switching duty cycle.</p> |
