The conchoidal engine consists of fixed framework (1) in which, due to gas pressure, rotor (2) moves, mounted on shaft (4) and joined to gear (5), which rolls in fixed gear (6) with internal teeth, mounted on one of the lateral walls of framework (1), rotating crankshaft (7), joined to the transmission system of a machine. Two isolated cavities (3,1 and 3,2) form between the external surface of rotor (2) and the internal surface of framework (1), where four cycle operational cycles are executed. The external surface of rotor (2) and the internal surface of framework (1) consist of the surfaces formed by the special curved line - the conchoid of the circle - and the two parallel surfaces. |
