<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoding distortion removal method capable of alleviating burden at a deblock filter, since the load on the deblock filter becomes large, if the deblock filter removes mosaic-like block noise generated during reproduction of a compressed video signal, with respect to all the blocks. <P>SOLUTION: It is determined whether removing processing of encoding distortion is required, and block filtering is applied, only when it is required. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
