<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a cable connector widthwise which connects two kinds of cables having different shapes, and to efficiently manufacture a contact arranged at the cable connector. <P>SOLUTION: A housing 102 includes a plurality of through holes 104 penetrating from a front surface side to a rear surface side. Pinching part engagement holes 104c are formed in a line by the same numbers as the through holes 104 at the rear surface side of the housing 102. Contacts 103 are formed of a plurality of rod-like members which are obtained by pressing a single metal plate, and has a pin contact abutting part 108, a pinching part 105, and a connecting part 112 for connecting them as one body. The pin contact abutting part 108 is formed by bending one end side of the rod-like member, and attached to the through hole 104.
