PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon nanotube wire structure. SOLUTION: The method for producing a carbon nanotube wire structure comprises providing a plurality of carbon nanotube arrays 10 which are arranged in different planes, drawing a plurality of carbon nanotubes from each of the plurality of carbon nanotube arrays 10 so that a plurality of carbon nanotube films 50 are formed, converging the plurality of carbon nanotube films 50 to one spot 52, and treating the plurality of carbon nanotube films 50 together to form the carbon nanotube wire structures 55 and 56.
