PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of predicting the residual life of an X-ray tube considering mechanical degradation caused by centrifugal force generated by the rotation of a gantry. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes a means for computing the residual life of a rotating mechanism 150 of a target 130 based on the number of rotation of the rotating gantry. For example, the products of rotating speedωi, the number of rotation r(ωi) of the gantry rotated at the rotating speedωi, and a coefficientβBR depending on the rotating speedωi, are computed every rotating speedωi of the gantry, and the sum of these products is obtained as the use consumption BR of the rotating mechanism 150. The use consumption BR is subtracted from the predicted life (average life) BR0 of the rotating mechanism 150 to compute the residual life PBR. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
