<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the opening/closing operation of a door even if the door is heavy. <P>SOLUTION: This opening/closing control device for an automatic door controls opening/closing of the door 2 in an automatic door device 1 including pulleys 4a, 4b connected to DC brushless motors (motors with reduction gears) 6a, 6b with reduction gears; a belt 5 wound on the pulleys 4a, 4b and turned by the rotation of the pulleys 4a, 4b; the door 2 connected to the belt 5 and opened/closed by turning of the belt 5; and control devices 10a, 10b for controlling the DC brushless motors 6a, 6b with the reduction gears.
