The invention relates to a device for supporting a ring (5) of gas turbine (1), the ring (5) being suitable for surrounding mobile blades (3) of the turbine (1) which are driven by a gas stream (G) flowing upstream to downstream. The device comprises at least one upstream hook (12) facing upstream, to be housed in an upstream groove (8) of the ring (5), opened toward the downstream direction, and at least one downstream hook (13) facing downstream, to be housed in a downstream groove (10) of the ring (5), opened toward the upstream direction. The hooks (12, 13) are thus protected and the clearances at the apexes of the blades (3) are more easily controlled. The device comprises, upstream from the upstream hook (12), means (16) for injecting cooling gas to cool the upstream hook (12) and/or comprises, downstream from the downstream hook (13), means (17, 18) for injecting a cooling gas to cool the downstream hook (13).
