<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system convenient for a veterinarian and a pet owner to provide an appropriate pet food to the pet. <P>SOLUTION: The veterinarian operates a hospital terminal device 2 to transmit a prescription to a server device 4, receiving a reply of prescription data including an approved code. The hospital terminal device 2 transmits the prescription data to a user terminal device 6 (mobile phone or PC) of the pet owner. Alternatively the printed prescription sheet is handed over to the pet owner. The pet owner accesses the server device 4 according to the prescription data and the prescription sheet to place an order of the pet food. The server device 4 obtains a prescription expiration date described on the prescription data on the basis of the approved code included in the order to determine whether or not the current date are within the prescription expiration date. When the current date are within the prescription expiration date, the delivery instruction of the pet food is conducted on the basis of the prescription data.
