<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce products with high economical efficiency and productivity while reliably detecting and removing defective sections. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing products from a raw material pulp sheet, wherein a raw material pulp sheet 3 is carried to a crusher 6 by a carrier roll 5. A defective section in the raw material pulp sheet 3 is detected by a detector 10, and the detected defective section is removed from the raw material pulp sheet 3 by a removal tool 20 during carrying the raw material pulp sheet to the crusher. The raw material pulp sheet 3 from which the defective section has been removed is fed to the crusher 6 to form crushed pulp.
