PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active vibration control device effectively reducing noise of a server device, especially beat sound due to vibration of a casing. SOLUTION: This device includes a vibration sensor 2 converting vibration of a casing 1 to electric signal, a vibration control circuit 3 generating electric signal for cancelling vibration of the casing 1 based on electric signal converted by the vibration sensor 2, and an exciting device 4 including a weight 5 on an exciting surface, fixed on the casing 1, and vibrating the weight 5 so as to cancel vibration of the casing 1 by electric signal generated by the vibration control circuit 3. Beat sound due to vibration in the casing 1 is effectively cancelled thereby. Kinetic energy necessary for cancelling vibration generated on the casing having large mass is provided by attaching the weight 5 on the exciting surface of the exciting device 4.
