PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic-component feeder that corrects a relative moving amount between an electronic-component assembly and an electronic-component processing section so as to prevent the occurrence of a deviation between the position of an electronic component to be fed and a prescribed position of the electronic-component processing section, an electronic-component feeding method, and a computer program. SOLUTION: The electronic-component feeder feeds individual electronic components 1, in a prescribed order starting from a wafer 2 in which a plurality of the electronic components 1 are regularly arrayed to a suction section 4 for executing prescribed processing to the electronic components 1. The electronic-component feeder includes a storage section 71, a recognition section 72, an image sensor 6, a moving section 5, a moving correction section 73 and a detour processing section 74. When two or more electronic components 1, whose attribute is unrecognizable are fed continuously in the prescribed order, the detour processing section 74 moves the image sensor 6 along the electronic components 1, whose attribute is non-defective or defective by detouring the electronic components 1 whose attribute is unrecognizable so as to allow the moving correction section 73 to execute processing, by using the image information of the electronic components 1 obtained at the moved position.
