PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing type massage device which is not easily broken even when made to fall or the like. SOLUTION: The pressing type massage device 1 includes at least a base 2 composed of an elastic member, a base covering material 3 composed of a soft material covering the surface of the base 2, a presser 4 fixed to the base covering material 3 and composed of a member harder than the base 2, and a presser covering material composed of a soft material covering the surface of the presser 4. Then, if it is possible, a thick reinforcing material 32 is provided on the back surface side of the base covering material 3, and reinforcing knitted parts 31a and 31b are formed by densely knitting reinforcing thread to the base covering material 3 from the top of the thick reinforcing material 32.
