<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit any filler for supporting the weight of a packed round rice cake. <P>SOLUTION: An ornamental stand 20 for round rice cake is constituted of one cardboard and has an opening 25 large enough to insert a round rice cake-shaped pack 10 in an upper surface part 21. A first outer surface part 22C, a first inner surface part 23C and a first holding part 24C which are successively folded in from two opposing first ridges of the upper surface part 21 are continuously formed. Projecting parts 28 are formed at both ends of the first holding part 24C. Second outer surface parts 22A, 22B, second inner surface parts 23A, 23B and second holding parts 24A, 24B which are successively folded in from other two ridges of the upper surface part 21 are continuously formed. Cuts 29 are formed in the second inner surface parts 23A, 23B. The first and second holding parts 24A, 24B, 24C are folded in along the inner surface of the upper surface part 21. When the projecting parts 28 are inserted in the cuts 29, these holding parts are strongly coupled with each other.
