<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument, by which a body fluid sampled by a fiber bundle can be efficiently collected, for an endoscope, and an endoscope including the treatment instrument. <P>SOLUTION: The treatment instrument for an endoscope includes the fiber bundle, a fiber bundle holding part holding the fiber bundle, and a high/low density switching means switching a fiber density of the fiber bundle between two conditions. Preferably, the high/low density switching means has a flexible tube wherein the fiber bundle holding part can be housed, and fibers of the fiber bundle have resiliency and are radially fixed to the fiber bundle holding part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
