PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize coins discriminated as counterfeit coins, which are dropped outside a reject box in a coin depositing/dispensing device. SOLUTION: The coin depositing/dispensing device includes: a storage part 53 having a top surface opened for storing coins discriminated as counterfeit coins discharged from an opening 33a, and a first side surface 53a exposed to the outside of the device and higher than the height b of a second side surface 53b facing the first side surface 53a; a holding part 54 which holds the storage part 53 so that the storage part 53 can be drawn and stored and has a guide surface 140 for guiding movement of the storage part 53 in a drawing direction and a storing direction from the lower surface of the storage part 53; a height control part 150 which is disposed at the downstream of the opening 33a in the storing direction and extends toward the guide surface 140 from the height of the opening 33a and has an end part 150a located between the opening 33a and the guide surface 140.
