PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission member equipped with a temperature monitoring device. SOLUTION: The transmission member includes a shaft body 1, a moving body 2, a flowing-around member 9, a rolling element 3, and the temperature monitoring device. The temperature monitoring device includes a power source 7, a temperature detection sensor 5, and an alarm device 4. The temperature detection sensor 5 is installed in the moving body 2 to detect the thermal energy of the moving body 2. When the thermal energy detected in such a way increases, the resistance decreases, so that the alarm device 4 automatically outputs a signal for notification to a user, or a cooling device is started to cool the transmission member. Therefore, this constitution can avoid poor precision in positioning the transmission member, poor lubrication, and function deterioration due to overheating.
