<p>The limiter has a locking element e.g. cam lever (8), engagable in an undercut that is formed by a locking unit e.g. catch cam collar (6), connected with a limiter wheel (3), depending on rotation speed of the limiter wheel to block rotation of the limiter wheel in a rotational direction. The engagement of the locking element takes place when overspeed is electromechanically determined. A control device engages the locking element depending on speed measured by a speed sensor (11). A rope of a lift system is guided in the limiter wheel. An independent claim is also included for a gripping device for a lift cage of a lift system.</p> |
