<p>A method, a device and an Electronic Program Guide (EPG) server for live broadcast reminding in Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) system are provided. Said method includes: a Set Top Box (STB) in the IPTV system provides a setting page for live broadcast reminding, and sends a live broadcast reminding setting request to the EPG server according to the live broadcast reminding content set by a user, wherein said request includes the live broadcast reminding content set by said user and said user's information; the EPG server generates said user's live broadcast reminding record according to said live broadcast reminding content in the received live broadcast reminding setting request, saves the live broadcast reminding record and reports it to a service management platform; the EPG server sends said user's live broadcast reminding record to the STB, and the STB displays said live broadcast reminding record to said user. Using the solution of the present invention, users can independently choose and customize program live broadcast reminding, and the user customized live broadcast reminding can be pushed to the STB by the EPG server, to be displayed on television, thereby improving user experience.</p> |
