<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna evaluation device and method, capable of generating a correlationship between fading fluctuation that occurs in vertical and horizontal polarized wave components. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna evaluation device 1 includes a time variable factor generating part 10 for generating a pair of correlational time variable factors having correlation with each other, a composite signal generating part 20 for generating a composite signal by multiplying the pair of correlational time variable factors with base band signal, a transmission antenna T for transmitting test radio waves containing composite signal in respective vertical polarized wave component and horizontal polarized wave component to an antenna to be evaluated. The time variable factor generating part 10 provides a correlationship of a correlational amount between vertical polarized wave component and horizontal polarized waved component at a reception end which is determined by a given inter-polarized waves covariance matrixΓ, to the pair of correlational time variable factors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
