A method for classification of granular materials and a device for its implementation relates to separation of particulate materials by size or density in air. It can be used in mining, metallurgy, energy, chemical and other industries, as well as in agriculture. The purpose of the invention is to improve quality of classification by reducing the amount of coarse product in fine product and increase of the yield of coarse product. The material flow is fed to a rotating shaft (P) 6 with plates (P) 9, acts through grids 3 by an air jet, distributed in a circle and introduced into a cavity P 6, the grains of material are subject to action of П 9, thrown into the chamber (K) 12, the grains with angles of projecting above set angles cut by a screen 10, directed into the cavity P 6 and another action П 9 is made, and the grains with given angles are precipitated in K 12: the coarse product – in the receiver 14, the fine product - in the receiver the case at the depth of penetration into the cavity P 6 for a value of 1.5 ... 2.5 of maximum diameter of grains (Dmax) the grains are subject to action of П 9 at an angle, and at 3 ... 4.5 Dmax - 40° ... 15°. |
