PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a polylactic acid crystal nucleator capable of predicting an added concentration (critical concentration) of the crystal nucleator at which the crystallization velocity is the maximum, without actually measuring the crystallization velocity.
SOLUTION: The method for evaluating the added concentration of the crystal nucleator used for the crystallization of a polylactic acid-based resin is characterized to include: a step of measuring infrared (IR) absorption spectra of the polylactic acid-based resin using a Fourier transform type infrared (FT-IR) spectrophotometer; and a step of predicting the added concentration of an organic crystal nucleator at which the crystallization velocity is maximum by comparing the maximum values of the absorption peaks observed in the characteristic absorption bands of the organic crystal nucleator.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
|
