The blood sampling equipment has a chamber to which two passages are connected. One of the passages is designed for connection to equipment altering the pressure in the chamber (3), and the other drains liquids from it. The first passage (8) may have an internal recess (8a) formed in it, accommodating a mating tapered surface of the pressure alteration equipment, and can also be arranged to pass through a tubular section (12) extending for nearly the full height of the chamber and inside it. The tube can have a recess (13) formed in its free end. The chamber can be assembled from two parts sealed together. |
