In a case where information from a server to an application of a terminal is inherited by a browser, there is a fear that the application might be fraudulently operated by the server that might be a malicious one. An application (102) of a client terminal (100) sends both application session information, which indicates the status of the application, and an application signature, which certifies the identification of the application, to a browser (101). The browser transmits the application session information and application signature to a server (200). The server generates an HTML page, into which a script instructing an operation of the application has been inserted, and server session information, and transmits, to the browser, the generated HTML page and server session information together with the application signature received from the browser. When the script is activated, the browser transfers the information received from the server to the application. Only if the application signature transferred from the browser is the one that was generated by the application itself, then the application performs a processing in accordance with the server session information.
