<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aluminum alloy continuously cast rod by which the cast rod having good quality is stably and continuously cast while restraining defects on the cast surface and development of break-out in a horizontally continuous casting. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of producing the aluminum alloy continuously cast rod in which the center axis is held almost horizontally and a cylindrical mold (201) having a forcible cooling means is used, an aluminum alloy continuously cast rod 101 having a Si-rich structure part 104 of≥20μm thickness on the surface on the side surface of at least≥30°center angle (103) is produced by controlling the temperature difference between the molten metal temperature and the solidification temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
