PURPOSE: A method for preparing polysilanes-based compounds is provided to ensure a reduction dehydrogenation polymerization reaction of the primary, secondary, and tertiary silanes in which the reactivity is limited. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing polysilanes-based compounds comprises a step of preparing a polysilanes-based compound through reduction dehydrogenation polymerization reaction of the primary, secondary, and tertiary silanes in the presence of a dehydrogenation catalyst, wherein the dehydrogenation catalyst has a structure of chemical formula 4. In chemical formula 4, M is metal; R^1, R^2, R^3 and R^4 are independently hydrogen, (substituted) hydrocarbyl or (substituted) heterohydrocarbyl; R^5 and R^6 are (substituted) hydrocarbyl; and X is selected from the group consisting of halogen, C1-C20 alkyl group, C7-C30 arylalkyl group, C3-C20 alkyl-substituted siloxy group, and amido group having C1-C20 hydrocarbon group.
