PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring the stem factor of a motor driven valve are provided to minimize the time for measuring the torque of a motor driven valve by allowing the torque of a stem to be measured without disassembly of the valve. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring the stem factor of a motor driven valve comprises a motor(10), an actuator(20), a yoke(40), a valve body(50), a stem processing unit, and a stem sensor(34). The actuator transfers the driving force of the motor to a stem(30) so as to drive the stem in an up and down direction. The yoke receives the stem at the bottom of the actuator. The valve body is opened and closed under the yoke with a disc(31) prepared on the bottom of the stem. The stem processing unit shapes a part of a threaded portion(32) of the stem to be flat. The stem sensor is coupled to the stem processing unit and measures the torque and thrust of the stem.
