The operating device has measuring equipment (4) arranged on vehicle door (2). Through the measuring equipment power alterations caused during the opening and/or closing at the vehicle door are detectable. The measuring equipment has spring (5) arranged between body (1) and vehicle door. The spring is attached to detection device (6) for measuring caused length variation of the spring by power alterations. An independent claim is also included for the method for operating of the motor vehicle door with operating device. |
