DEVICE AND METHOD FOR LUBRICATING OIL LEAKAGE AUTO STOPPING

PURPOSE: A device and a method for preventing a lubricant leak for washing a main engine are provided to automatically and rapidly block a lubricant leak which can be occurred during a main engine washing process. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing a lubricant leak for washing a main engine comprises a level switch and an oil leak sensor. The level switch is installed in a main engine lubricant tank and measures the level of lubricant in the lubricant tank. The level switch indicates a normal level in normal operation and indicates a cutoff level in a lubricant leak. When the level switch indicates the cutoff level, the oil leak sensor stops the operation of a lubricant pump.
