PURPOSE: An optical disc drive is provided to contact an end portion of a shaft to other parts by exposing the shaft more than other parts of a clamp. CONSTITUTION: An optical disk drive comprises a spindle motor, a clamp part(30), and a shaft(37). The clamp section performs chucking, and rotation with the optical disc. The shaft is installed in the central part of the spindle motor. One end of the shaft is combined with the spindle motor. The shaft transfers the torque of the spindle motor to the clamp section. The other end of the shaft is protruded in the longitudinal direction of the shaft.
