PURPOSE: A steel pipe drawing apparatus and a drawn steel pipe manufacturing method are provided to prevent sagging in a second thickness gradient, since tilt angles of first and second thickness gradients become equal. CONSTITUTION: A steel pipe drawing apparatus comprises a first hydraulic cylinder(20), a second hydraulic cylinder, and a position detecting sensor. The first hydraulic cylinder relatively transfers a die(2), corresponding to the drawing direction of the steel pipe. The second hydraulic cylinder relatively transfers a plug(4) in an opposite direction to the traveling direction of the die. The position detecting sensor detects the stroke position of the second hydraulic cylinder. The computer receives location information detected by the position detecting sensor and controls the transition speed of the second hydraulic cylinder based on location information.
