CARBON NANOTUBE COMPOSITE FILAMENT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing carbon nanotube composite filament is provided to facilitate a structure control of carbon nanotube assembly and composite filament and to enable use of carbon nanotube of high concentration. CONSTITUTION: A carbon nanotube composite filament(100) includes a core(110) including the carbon nanotube, and a sheath(120) including a polymer surrounding the core. A method for preparing the carbon nanotube comprises the steps of: dissolving a polymer in a solvent to prepare the sheath; mixing the carbon nanotube with a dispersing agent and solvent, or bonding a functional group to the surface of the carbon nanotube and mixing with a solvent to obtain a core solution by preparing a dispersion and suspension; spinning the sheath solution and the core solution using a hollow-fiber nozzle; and extending the filament.
