PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase the maintenance ratio of voltage in case reactive mesogen is included on the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: An electric field generating electrode is formed on a first substrate or a second substrate. An alignment layer is formed on the electric field generating electrode. A liquid crystal film(3) includes a liquid crystal(310), a first orientation polymer, and a second orientation polymer and is interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first orientation polymer irradiates first orientation agent. The second first orientation polymer irradiates second orientation agent.
