PURPOSE: An impeller apparatus for shot peening and shot blast is provided to maintain the concentration degree of striking by accurately striking workpieces though a steel ball moves along a worn guide plane. CONSTITUTION: An impeller apparatus for shot peening and shot blast comprises a blade(42) and a control gauge(50). A projection is formed on the guide plate(42-2) of the blade, and the inner side of the projection is roundly projected. As a steel ball discharged through a discharge hole(51) of the control gauge bumps against and rebounds from the rotating blade, the rebounded steel ball does not enter into the inside of the control gauge by the projection. The steel ball is shot to workpieces by the guide plane of the following blade. The steel ball steadily strikes the workpieces.
