PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device reducing the number of circuit boards, resulting in reduced cost and effective use of a space on the back side of a chassis member. SOLUTION: The plasma display device includes a plasma display panel (PDP) 10 where a front plate 21 having scanning sustaining electrodes and common sustaining electrodes and a back substrate 31 having address electrodes are arranged opposing each other to form a discharge space therebetween, and the chassis member 200 holding the PDP 10 on the front side and having the circuit boards arranged on the back side for driving the PDP 10. The lead terminals of each of the scanning sustaining electrodes, the common sustaining electrodes and the address electrodes, and the circuit boards 211, 213 for giving potential to the lead terminals are arranged to be point-symmetric with the PDP 10 as an axis, respectively.
